Notice of Fireworks Restrictions

Town of Garden City

Effective July 22, 2026

All fireworks inside Garden City limits shall be prohibited in accordance with the Utah State Forester's July 21, 2026, order. Fireworks shall only be allowed in Heritage Park's north parking lot. This site shall be overseen and monitored by the Garden City Fire District during permissible days and hours set forth by the mayor of Garden City. No other permissible zones or areas within Garden City, whether public or private, for the lighting of fireworks will be allowed. Citations will be issued for violations per Garden City Code 12-304-A(3) and Utah Code 53-7-225.

Fireworks will only be ALLOWED IN ONE LOCATION THIS YEAR:

Heritage Park - Personal fireworks will only be allowed at Heritage Park on July 22nd - 25th from 9 p.m.- 11 p.m. (9 p.m. to midnight on the 24th).

There will be a fire truck on site. Please light them off on the dirt located to the north of the Pickle ball courts.
